Happy Earth Day! Let's Drink a Baobab Toast To The Earth

Happy Earth Day!  Stumped on what to get the planet that has everything?  Hmm, maybe the best present is to NOT give the earth something.  We could not give the earth pesticides, pollution and extreme amounts of CO2.

Celebrate Earth Day By Doing Good!

Today, April 22nd, is the day to do something good for our planet.  Not exactly sure what Earth Day is all about?  Here is the deal -

Every year on April 22, over a billion people in 190 countries take action for Earth Day. From San Francisco to San Juan, Beijing to Brussels, Moscow to Marrakesh, people plant trees, clean up their communities, contact their elected officials, and more—all on behalf of the environment.

Need Some Ideas On How To Do Good?

The EarthDay.Org site has a great section on how to take action to help the Earth on Earth Day.  The thing is, you don't need to be part of an organized event to make a difference on Earth Day.  Go to your local park and pickup some trash - you will be doing major GOOD for Earth Day.  Talk to your kids about the importance of recycling.  Go online and read about how you can help the Earth...oh wait, that is exactly what you are doing now.  Seriously, take any action, no matter how small and make the planet a better place!

Reward Your Efforts With a Baobab Smoothie

You didn't think we could make it through a whole post on Earth Day without plugging Baobab - did you?  As our regular readers know, we are huge fans of the Baobab Fruit.  The Baobab Fruit we use to make our Limitless Baobab Fruit Powder is 100% Organic, Fairly Traded and sustainably harvested from Africa.  In addition, we use absolutely no heat to turn the Baobab Fruit into Baobab powder, which means we maintain a very small carbon footprint.

What does all of this mean?  It means a Baobab Smoothie is the perfect way to toast Earth Day!  Here is one of our favorite Baobab recipes -

Happy Earth Day to All!
