How To Feel Good In Just 7 Minutes?

Let's be honest, we're all busy.  Working out, exercising, feeling good...what nice ideas, but really who has time for all that?  You do, I do, we all do...especially if it only takes 7 minutes!  

Science To The Rescue - The Perfect Workout?

Leave it to the scientist at the Human Performance Institute in Florida to figure out the perfect 7 minute workout.  In an article in the May-June issue of the American College of Sports Medicine’s Health & Fitness Journal they detail the 12 exercises you can do, in just 7 minutes, using only your own body weight, a chair and a wall.  

While the workout lasts just 7 minutes, don't expect it to be a comfortable 7 minutes.  The whole concept is to do high intensity training, with at most 10 seconds rest between routines.  The good news - the intense training combines the benefits of a long run and a visit to the weight room.  The bad news - it's going to be the longest 7 minutes you have ever felt.

Have An Extra Minute?  You Can Try This 8 Minute Workout

Got an extra 60 seconds to spare in your day?  You can try Jorge Cruise's 8 Minute Workout.  While not published in a peer reviewed journal, it was on Oprah, and really are you going to go against Oprah?  Again, the plan involves high intensity interval training and shows that you don't need much time to see positive health benefits from working out.

Got 20 Minutes?  Great, You Can Do 5-7 Hours of Jogging
